SAI participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. SAI is committed to subjecting all personal data received from European Union (EU) member countries, in reliance on the Privacy Shield Framework, to the Framework’s applicable Principles. SAI is responsible for the processing of personal data it receives, under the Privacy Shield Framework, and subsequently transfers to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. SAI complies with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EU, including the onward transfer liability provisions.
With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Framework, SAI is subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Transportation. In certain situations, SAI may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
Under certain conditions, more fully described on the Privacy Shield website [https://www.privacyshield.gov], you may invoke binding arbitration when other dispute resolution procedures have been exhausted.
This policy applies to all personal information that we collect when you voluntarily submit this to us. Additionally, this applies to any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) that is received by SAI in any format including electronic, paper or verbal. If you choose to provide SAI with personal data as part of a request for information about our products and services, it will be used only to respond to inquiries, better understand your needs and provide the highest quality of service.
SAI’s service is to collect and process call detail records from customer PBX and IP-PBX equipment for the purpose of providing telecom usage and other reports used for management of corporate telecom facilities. During this process, some or all the following information may be provided to SAI by the customer based upon contracted service levels and local privacy laws:
- Company Name
- Department Name
- Employee Name
- Employee Title
- Telephone or Extension Numbers
- Call Detail Records, including date, time, duration, number dialed, or calling number
This information is then made available to authorized representatives of our clients via a password protected web interface or delivered directly to select authorized client recipients based upon client instruction. SAI does not own or control any of the information it processes on behalf of our client(s). All such information is owned and controlled by our clients. In this capacity, SAI receives information transferred from the E.U. to the U.S., as a processor on behalf of our customers and our customers remain the data controller.
If you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the Client that you interact with directly. We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our Clients.
An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the SAI’s Client (the data controller). If requested to remove data we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. SAI will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We may also disclose your personal information as required by law. Legal reasons may include disclosure to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud or respond to a government request. If SAI Corp is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information; or to any other third party with your prior consent to do so.
SAI will send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to update your selection directly on our site.
Based upon the personal information you provide SAI, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes. If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, amend, delete/remove or deactivate it by emailing our Customer Support at email@example.com or by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed below. We will respond to your request within 30 days. SAI acknowledges that you have the right to access your personal information. Upon request, SAI will grant individuals reasonable access to personal information that SAI holds about them. In addition, SAI will take reasonable steps to permit individuals to correct, amend or delete information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete. Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by SAI and our marketing partners. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
