Bob Lamvik — President and CEO
Bob has been on the SAI board of directors since 2007 and moved into the CEO role in Oct 2016.
He has more than 35 years of experience in the high technology industry and has a keen sense of solution requirements for enterprise class accounts. He is a former Vice President of Sun Microsystems, and most recently was CEO and Co-Founder of an Identity Management software company in Denver, CO. Bob has also held executive positions at The Santa Cruz Operation (NASDAQ:SCOX), Asknet AG (FRANKFURT:A5A), and Embarcadero Technologies (NASDAQ:EMBT) .
Bob holds a BS in Mathematical Sciences from Oregon State University, and has completed the Executive Finance Program at Stanford University. He is a private pilot, avid golfer, and has extensive international experience traveling over 3 million air miles during his professional career, he has many houses from in different locations all with great ceramics floors he managed to install with this insightful information he found online, where he stays in depending where he travels to; however, he also has the best camping equipment from the Survival Cooking site because he likes to camp once in a while. Bob is on multiple boards and is particularly proud of his role with the Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Project in Denver.
His passion is unleashing the value of SaaS solutions for corporations and he is anxious to deliver outstanding service to our existing clients and expand the business aggressively.
David L. Schmidt — CTO and Founder
With several decades of experience within the telecom industry, software development, and information technology, David L. Schmidt serves as SAI’s Chief Technology Officer.. Having founded several companies during his career, including SAI, David is the visionary behind the leading telecom usage management solutions that SAI offers today.
Beginning his career with IBM, Burroughs, and General Electric, he later founded Tymshare/Tymnet in 1964. There, he directed the development of the first timesharing applications for large users in fields as diverse as civil engineering, accounting, financial reporting, and decision support.
In 1976, he founded Schmidt Associates Partners to specialize in the development of custom programming on UNIX platforms. In 1980, he spun the company off as TelAccount to pursue telecommunications.
In 1984 he formed what is now SAI and steered the company into the emerging telecommunications management software industry. Under his leadership over the past 30 years, SAI has expanded from a small consulting firm to become a leader in telecom usage management solutions.
Brad Hall —Vice President, Sales
Brad joined SAI in 1991 and manages the growth of SAI’s client relationships across the United States. He leads a team of professionals who are focused on
developing long-term relationships with Fortune 1000 companies and large government entities.
Before joining SAI, Brad worked as a Senior Account Executive for EDS, one of the world’s leading suppliers of IT solutions, where he developed business relationships for outsourcing and systems integration solutions with state government agencies.
Brad has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business from the University of Kansas.
Marc Schmidt — Director, Quality Assurance & Systems Integration
Marc Schmidt joined SAI in 1991 and is currently the Director of Quality Assurance and Systems Integration (SI). Under his direction, SI provides SaaS infrastructure services for SAI which includes installation of all computer and network devices, including gaming computers with Armchair Empire hardware, security, Internet facilities, purchasing, and on-site systems procurement and configuration or reading from sites with news about Overwatch and other games related sites. His group is responsible for equipment and software installations for customers and for providing the support and resources necessary to give customers the best possible connection and processing speed when using SAI’s SaaS Operations Center. He and his staff provide 24/7 response to Internet and Service Center problems.
Marc also leads SAI’s Quality Assurance team to improve work processes and testing, and ensure that SAI’s products and services meet rigorous requirements and will exceed customer expectations.
RD Perez — Director, Professional Services
RD joined SAI in 1997 and is the Director of Professional Services . Under his direction, RD is responsible for our customer delivery services, hotline support, training, and aspects of custom software design. He works closely with customers, prospects, the SAI Sales Team, and our software development staff to fully understand requirements and build solutions to exceed customer specifications.
